Death And destruction

I have to say its a bit ironic that the last post was praising the rain arriving this post has to be the opposite.

This is the other side of the river. the orange Shed is mine.

This is my neighbours shed under water

The water is above the level of my plot. The bank can hold it back but... Water rises out of the ground. and comes off the field  this is the plot closest to the river. He rotovated this last week when the hose pipe ban was is full affect

I am hoping that we have not lost our Potatoes. as you can see they are under Water. As someone pointed out if this was 2 months ago it would not have been a problem but now with a few hundred pounds invested in the crop all we can do is hope and pray
