Popped down to the allotment the other morning. Its nice to see some new growth on some of the plants. Thought I would post some to show you. Its funny that you put a dead looking stick into the ground and a bit of water and a few weeks pass and suddenly ... New life appears.
The last picture is not of my allotment but of a huge puddle I had to cycle through on my way to work yesterday. It has rained so much over the last few days that parts of my path is under water. It got me thinking how much rain will have to fall before they stop the hose pipe ban. Has anyone heard what percentage of our annual rain has actually fallen in these last few weeks
